Cell-based Tyrosine Kinase Assay Service Compound Handling and Shipping

Required Volume and Other Information

Compounds may be delivered as either a solid (preferred) or as a liquid.

a. Solids –
please provide the formula weight (F.W.) and indicate the quantity (in milligrams) on the primary container.
ACD will not weigh compounds
b. Liquids –
please provide compound(s) at a concentration 1,000-fold greater than the desired testing concentration (i.e. 10 mM if the highest desired concentration is 10 μM in the actual assay).
All compounds should be solvated in DMSO with the concentration clearly printed on the primary container. Other solvents may be acceptable, but prior arrangement(s) must first be made with ACD.
Please consult us for any volume less than the required minimum volume, 400µL.

Shipments lacking the requested information may cause a delay in study initiation.

All necessary paperwork such as a purchase order, completed service application form, and other requested documents, if any, must be provided by e-mail to us at info@carnabio.com no later than preceding your compound shipment. To ensure a smooth shipment process, choose a courier or other suitable shipping service with demonstrated experience for customs clearance. It's recommendable to describe your materials on the documents as "for research use only, not for human consumption, and of no commercial value."
Compound Storage

Compounds will be maintained at a storage temperature specified by the client prior to study initiation (recommended and default is -80C).

Residual Compound(s)

Following completion of the study, arrayed compounds in high-density plates will be sealed with adhesive foil and stored at room temperature for four (4) weeks after the result report is issued. Discarded compounds are destroyed by incineration. Longer term storage duration and temperature(s) are possible but need be coordinated in advance of the study initiation.
